Rodne Maxie, LCSW

My name is Rodne, and I am a clinical social worker with over ten years of experience in the mental health field, supporting adults and teens across a range of settings including residential treatment, community-based programs, and correctional environments. I hold a Masters of Social Work from Boston University and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Rhode Island College.

As a dedicated and trauma-informed therapist, I bring a deep understanding of how systemic challenges, life transitions, and complex trauma can impact mental health and well-being. My clinical work is grounded in a commitment to meeting each client where they are, fostering a therapeutic environment that is nonjudgmental, culturally responsive, and strengths based.

My approach integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed care. I support clients in building insight, emotional regulation skills, and self-efficacy as they work toward stability, growth, and long-term healing. Whether clients are navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, or life transitions, I aim to provide support that is both compassionate and empowering.

My motto: Revitalize your mind, discover your power.
